‘Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs’/ Sony Pictures Animation
A pair of hit 3-D films from 2009 are coming to DVD and Blu-ray on January 5, 2010 … but only one of the two will get the 3D treatment for the home edition.

Inspired by the beloved children’s book, this sleeper animated hit focuses on a town where food falls from the sky like rain. Although the theatrical release was featured in RealD 3D, the Blu-ray or DVD edition are only featured in 2D. Features the voices of Bill Hader (‘SNL’), Anna Faris, James Caan, Andy Samberg and Bruce Campbell. High-def edition is a Blu-ray/DVD/digital copy combo pack. ‘The Final Destination’

Universal studios is also re-releasing a number of Blu-ray titles as BD/DVD combo packs. New HD editions of “The Last Starfighter,” “End of Days,” “Dawn of the Dead (2004),” “The Rundown,” “8 Mile,” “Doom,” “Street Fighter” and “Jarhead” will now also include a DVD version.
